Here's How It Works:

If your project is one that is simple to quote, or we can get enough information from you over the phone we can give you a free quote. Most times however we need to come out to see the area and collect information to quote an accurate price.

We set an appointment for an onsite consultation. You may be asked to fill out a questionnaire before your appointment so that we can determine things such as your areas of interest, budget, and likes or dislikes. Call us to schedule an estimate today!

Our Consultant/Designer: Will walk through your site and you can tell the consultant about your ideas and budget requirements. The consultant can then offer an overall theme for your project and give you a ballpark price whether it be an hourly rate for certain jobs or a quote on a specific job. Remember that not all projects may need designing, but if a design is requested they will give you an estimate on how many hours it will take to produce & what the charge will be. If you require a plan on paper or a computer generated image/layout, our design-consulting fees range from $65-$95 an hour plus tax depending on the particular design service you require for your project. You may just want an estimate & sketch or you may request computer design/images which take more time & knowledge to prepare for you. It's all up to you to decide where your money is best spent and how much of a visual you need.

Is paying for a design and some specific advice on your outdoor development too much?

Some people may think so, especially those who don’t find their outdoor space that big of a deal. Unfortunately, this is the type of person who most likely ends up with a high maintenance design that guarantees he/she will be a slave to their yard work. They will ultimately spend more money as this landscape will need to be redone prematurely either to correct maintenance issues, existing grading conditions that were not accounted for, and sometimes even improper drainage that can cause unusable areas. There is no such thing as "no maintenance" plants but a planting designed properly with sensible maintenance is worth the price. Spending a little money on some expert advice can save you money in the future.
